I truly can’t imagine life without a dog . . .
All my life I’ve been a dog lover. There is just something about our furry friends – that unique combination of unconditional love, loyalty, fidelity, and buckets full of slobber. It’s that sense that your dogs care more about you than anything else in the world – even themselves. It makes you feel special, and it unquestionably adds meaning to your life.
I’ve had many dogs in my life, and I have loved every one of them. Barely a day goes by when I don’t think about and miss those who have already made their way to the Rainbow Bridge, but my current ones are there to ease the pain and keep me happy.
Writing has long been a hobby of mine, though it is unusual for numbers guys like me to also be writers. When I was a child I wrote my first novel, a non-published science fiction thriller. Over the years I wrote short stories and novellas. But in 2012 I published my first novel, The Forgotten Men, a cold war epic. In 2020 I published Rainbow Bridge, my second novel which answers the question asked by everyone who has ever loved and lost a dog – do we get to see them again?
